Job Overview
A manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machine Owner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machines, specifically the Biesse Rover CNC. You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining the machines to optimize production output.
Skills and Requirements
- Prepare machines for production cycles, including configuring settings such as speed and bits to meet specific requirements.
- Train machine operators on safe and efficient operation procedures, ensuring they are well-versed in machine functionality.
- Control and adjust machine settings as needed during production to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Regularly test machine operation for performance consistency.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve any machine-related issues that may arise during the shift, minimizing downtime.
- Continuously monitor the output to identify and rectify any mistakes or flaws related to machine operation.
- Maintain detailed records of approved and defective units or final products, as well as any adjustments made during production.
- Handle all reporting related to machine maintenance and preventative maintenance measures and routines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Biesse Rover CNC machines is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC machinery operation and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of Cabinet Vision Software is preferred.
