Job Overview

A healthcare company is seeking a Regional MDS Nurse to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring the development and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument through the completion of the (MDS) in accordance with state/federal requirements and the policies/goals of the facility.

Skills and Requirements

• Travel to multiple facilities across New Jersey.
• Strong MDS leadership skills.
• Experience with regional MDS.
• Conduct patient assessments and determine the health status, level of care, and any subsequent changes.
• Ensure accurate and timely RAI completion.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary participation in the completion of the RAI and resident care plan.
• Assist in developing and implementing programs and procedures to maximize the reimbursement potential of the facility and improve the quality of care.
• Current active RN NJ licensure.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and benefit guidelines.
