A software company is seeking a Business Development Director to recruit and develop new partners via multiple channels including trade shows, inbound leads, professional networking, and personal connections and resources.
Skills and Requirements
- Manage the sales plan for generating new strategic partnerships by proactively reaching out to the ISV community.
- Perform the daily outbound efforts needed to generate new lead sources for pipeline development.
- Facilitate and prepare timely and profitable proposals for potential strategic partners.
- Manage the inbound lead flow and pipeline via Salesforce to exceed production expectations.
- Conduct, as needed, onsite partner visits to finalize and/or support ongoing partner needs and drive new merchant applications.
- Attend vertical-focused trade shows.
- Track record of success in Business Development
- Background in the payments industry is a plus.
- Travel as needed.
