Skills and Requirements
- Consistently and effectively monitor tendered freight to ensure equipment is moved in a timely manner.
- Trace equipment and update dispatch board with availability and last free day information.
- Continually monitor driver progress and process dispatches using the ELD operating system.
- Work closely with Load Planning/CSRs regarding status updates, driver availability, and delays.
- Update the Operations Manager regarding any issues impacting service and driver availability.
Qualifications
- 2 Years of Houston Intermodal Dispatch Experience
- Experience with Intermodal portals
- Intermediate understanding of Intermodal business
- Intermediate understanding of Supporting documentation of Intermodal business
